How do I become a member

We encourage people to join as a member of the national group as it supports CMA and helps it grow in a sustainable way. As part of membership discounts are offered for classes, workshops, events, musical instruments, and merchandise. Membership is an option your local branch admin person will offer as part of class or event fees.

Please note that membership fees are different to class fees. Each CMA centre has its own class fee structure

12 month Membership: $60.00.

Taranaki

Our capoeira group is run by Hannah and Josh (or Rastinha and Mandingueiro as they're known in the capoeira community) and was started in early 2009.  We are a small but solid crew, and we love having new people come along!

Our kids class started partway through term 1 and also is growing over time.  We have a solid core of regulars and a number of others who have come along to check it out over the terms.  We're happy for kids of any age to come along and check it out, or join in!
