On Friday 8th and Saturday 9th of March 2013, we will have special Capoeira Angola classes running with teachers from our Auckland branch of the group. The teachers have trained in Brazil on multiple occasions and will be passing on the knowledge and skills that they have gained through years of practice.
Tentative schedule
Friday 8th March - $10
6-8pm - Capoeira Angola movement class
8-9pm - Discussion
Saturday 9th March - $25
10am - 12Noon - Capoeira Angola movement class
12Noon - 1pm - Lunch break
1pm - 3pm - Capoeira Angola music practice and discussion
3pm - 5pm - Roda de Capoeira Angola
Or $30 for both days
Workshops will be held at the Massey University Rec Centre on Tasman street.

BEGINNERS CLASSES
6pm every Thursday at Thistle Hall, top of Cuba St. Everyone is welcome, please bring full length pants, a T-shirt (not a tank top/singlet) that you can tuck in, and comfortable flat soled shoes.
Classes usually involve a warmup, a few basic movement steps, a few attacks and defenses, some conditioning, and some sequences of movements to practice in pairs to prepare you for playing a game of capoeira. Anyone can join in regardless of fitness, gymnastic ability, and previous experience.
